Advocating for Deproscription
(with deep gratitude to Craig Murray for his reports on the case)
In 2025 our Home Secretary launched a diatribe
Said Palestine Action is a group that we have to proscribe
She bundled them up with others to ensure she’d get a result
The Neo-Nazi Russian Imperialists even the Maniac Murder Cult
Objectors said PA never hurt anyone this doesn’t make sense
Yvette said yes they have but declined to share her evidence
The flaw in in her argument was wider than the door of a barn
So she quickly added she knew the group was funded by Iran
A leaked copy of the Joint Terrorist Analysis Centre’s report
Shows Yvette’s advisory team suggested nothing of the sort
They assessed PA commits or participates in acts of terrorism
With damage to property representing the height of their activism
So people who wouldn’t hurt a fly and who carry at worst a hand tool
Are classed with killers committed to acts unimaginably cruel
And peaceful protestors get arrested when they demonstrate
As our legal system serves the interests of Israel’s terror state
At the Royal Court PA sought to put the proscription on hold
Absurd to pronounce non-violent folk terrorists the court was told
But the government team said there was secret intelligence evidence
That PA’s lawyers could not hear and mount an informed defence
Such an attack on free speech we had not experienced before
And the judge was fine with Israel interfering in our criminal law
Their counsel said something the government wants us all to know
“We accept of course that it is Draconian and deliberately so”
This confession that proscription was excessively severe
Was a bombshell no one in the court had expected to hear
Our leaders like to present as rational judicious and wise
So their admission none of these apply caused eyebrows to rise
Human rights groups cried legitimate protest was being denied
The UN Commissioner and special rapporteurs were all horrified
But Yvette Cooper rubbed her hands as hundreds were arrested
And made sure the Israel lobby were rewarded for all they’d invested
